A&I Coatings is delivering a CPD (Continuing Professional Development) presentation called ‘Fluoropolymer Coatings for Lowering Life Cycle Costs of Structures’. The one-hour presentation can be used as one point of formal CPD and will deliver outcomes related to competencies from the National Standard of Competency for Architects. The competency delivered by this project is related to the Design and Documentation standard, specifically, schematic design. Point 4.6 will be covered: investigation and integration of appropriate material selection for project design.
At the end of this presentation attendees will be able to:
- Explain how FEVE/fluoropolymer coatings work.
- Compare FEVE, polyurethane and polysiloxane.
- Explain how FEVE/fluoropolymer coatings save time and money over long term, i.e., have lower life cycle cost.
- Specify, or know where to go to specify a coating system.
