The E2100 floor coating was developed carefully with safety in mind, with the R9 anti slip rating offering slip resistance suitable for use in factories and garages in all industries. E2100 is fire resistant and also offers very good resistance to abrasion, chemicals and extreme temperatures.
For successful application, it is firstly important to prepare the surface. All surfaces must be structurally sound and free of contamination, particularly salt deposits. Loose or flaking paint must be removed by abrasive blast cleaning, power tool cleaning or sanding.
To begin application, power stir Part A and then blend Pack A with Pack B and power stir thoroughly for at least 2 minutes before thinning.
To apply with an Airless sprayer, use a tip with a range of 15 – 19 thou, otherwise use a roller or brush. Thin the first coat with up to 40% water and allow 3-5 hrs before it can be walked on and then a second coat can be applied. A third coat, if required, can be applied the next day.
