This project involved the construction of a significant steel and glass pool enclosure at the Chinese
Embassy in ACT. A&I Coatings were selected to supply specialised corrosion resistant protective
coatings for the steelwork. Steelwork around swimming pools and water parks is often very susceptible
to corrosion due to the high humidity and chemical levels found in these environments. A&I Coatings
ability to provide a proven anti[1]corrosion coating system along with solid technical backup ensures the
steelwork on this project will remain in excellent condition for many years to come.
A & I Coatings VITRETHANE 620 is a solvent based two pack acrylic
urethane with very good exterior durability and excellent application
properties. It is quick drying, well suited to onsite application, and can be
brush, roller or spray applied.
Application of V620 to all steelwork structures surrounding the
swimming pool.
A high-gloss V620 finish ensures the steel structure will maintain its sleek
appearance for years to come, giving the pool area a bright, open feel that
enhances its overall sense of class and spaciousness
The Pakenham Station redevelopment exemplifies the successful integration of advanced digital fabrication techniques in public infrastructure projects. A&I
Coatings, working alongside ShapeShift, delivered an ultra-high-performance coating for the ShapeShell™ RT panels, contributing to a sustainable,
efficient, and architecturally distinctive station that serves as a model for future infrastructure projects.
