The new Macquarie Bank global headquarters in Martin Place Sydney, displays the transformation of an older heritage asset into a 20,000m2 state-of-the-art modern workspace.
A large and unique steel and glass atrium crowns this building providing a light filled interior, along with conference facilities and client meeting spaces overlooking one of Sydney’s prime civic spaces.A&I Coatings’ role on this project was to supply a protective coating system for the atrium steelwork, which would be long-lasting and ascetically pleasing. The coating technology chosen was a fluoropolymer coating system because of the unsurpassed colour and gloss retention and corrosion protection properties of fluoropolymer coatings. In addition, A&I was able to provide a certified low VOC coating solution for this 6-star green star project.
